Very Powerful motor with 3 speeds. Extracts dust and indoor pollutants including VOCs. Air purifying with this AllerAir is accomplished via pre-filter (included), medical-grade HEPA filter (included), and carbon for filtering VOCs (volatile organic compounds) (not included). Activated Carbon is the best for removing VOCs, but non-activated carbon is okay. Manual shows how to add carbon. Only 2 extremely minor places on the top where a tiny amount of paint is missing.
